The EasyWean^® NoseRings^® are a practical tool that allows a calf to stay with its mother while weaning. Its simple design prevents the calf from suckling but does not interfere with its ability to eat, drink, or breathe.

When the calf tries to suckle the spikes prompt the cow to move away preventing suckling, which allows the weaning process to happen without the need for physical separation.

This non-piercing device is made from durable plastic and is secured by a simple wingnut and bolt.

It is designed to stay comfortably in place without loosening or causing the calf any distress. For effective results, the ring should remain in for four to six weeks to ensure lactation ends. These rings are fully reusable and, when stored correctly, can be used for up to eight seasons.
